Doug Murphy is the founder of D.E. Murphy Private Wealth Services following a robust career as a CPA, international tax associate, and private wealth associate for AmLaw 100 firm, BakerHosteler in Washington D.C.
Doug provides sophisticated private wealth, trust, and estate counsel to families with complex, multigenerational needs. Doug founded the practice to be intentionally selective, with a focus on advanced tax planning, asset protection, and long-term family stewardship. Doug continues to advance his mastery in the field of tax and private wealth law by maintaining a relevant and proactive focus on constant regulatory change, enabling families to move forward with clarity and confidence. Doug resides in Great Falls, VA, alongside his wife and six small children. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family and friends, running and studying his faith.
